I began my professional life as a matchmaker. I introduced humans of all ages to the natural world around them. Ancient redwood trees, Rough-Skinned Newts, Banana Slugs, Pacific Coast Tidepools, Monarch Butterflies and endless amounts of blackberry eating. I filled many roles with this same goal, Naturalist Ranger in California State Parks, lead instructor and trainer for outdoor schools, and a mentor for children and adults. While working as an instructor at the Wilderness Awareness School in Duvall, Washington I noticed my natural talent and interest in being a matchmaker between humans and Their Own Inner Nature.

There are many ways we can come into knowing ourselves and then actualizing our fullest potentials. With some guidance one of my own mentors and elders I tried life coaching. By the end of the first session, I was completely hooked. I LOVED being coached, it felt so respectful of who I am as a person and honoring of my own unique way of being in the world. In those sessions I felt extraordinary inspiration and power of choice. I wanted more for myself and to create that space for more people. From this I began Well Within! I earned my Certified Professional Coach (CPC) title through the eighteen-month training program at Invite Change. A certification recognized by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

I live in the lush and vibrant Pacific Northwest, surrounded by salmon, bald eagles, cedar trees and berries. I am a transplant from the San Francisco Bay Area in California where most of my family still lives. My daughter and I love visiting the river and throwing rocks in the waters while eating baked goods from our local bakery. My husband and I spend our time working on our home and garden. I love live storytelling and host several venues for storytelling each month in our local area and teach storytelling workshops.

“When Death comes to find you, make sure it finds you alive.”
— Unknown
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
